a season

Life has been very full these days.  My mother-in-law came for a visit, was back in the hospital, and will be with us for a bit as she recuperates.  It's been a season where I could write so much but I'm not sure how to write about it all so I suppose I haven't.  Even with that I'm not sure what more to say and so I'll just tell you that I want to get back to this space someday and share with you the great chicken we had this weekend or the chocolate bundt cake that I'll most definitely be making again.

I'd like to tell you about family and what's been going on but I don't think I can.  I wonder how people write about real life "stuff" on the internet without being misinterpreted, hurting someone's feelings, or just downright sharing too much information?  I suppose that's why people blog about fashion and food- safe topics.

I'll be back with food and maybe some fashion- my attempts at taking care of myself and dressing better that is.  Until then, thanks for your patience.  The boys are growing, the days are full, and I apologize that this space right now is not.

  1. Hi Laura,

It's Stephanie. I have been thinking of you and your family and wondering how life with two little ones has been going. I had to come and see the boys - they are so beautiful!

I'm sorry to hear that life is a bit messy right now. I just wanted you to know that we will all be here when you get back. You are a beautiful writer and this is such a wonderfully creative site - one that your boys will so enjoy perusing when they have grown a bit more.

You will know when the time is right to to return back here. Until then, lots of hugs, kisses and tickles with your handsome boys are in order!

Sending you lots of love and prayers,
