Cool Creamy Coleslaw

You saw that cole slaw on the pulled pork and wanted some, right?  I made a mayo free version the other week but this one might just be it's new competition.  It's just as easy to make and cool and creamy.  Perfect if you're eating at home and don't have to worry about the slaw going bad in the heat because of mayo.  Also perfect if you just like mayo over vinegar.  No judging here.

I know for one my dad's going to love this.  It'll probably show up on the 4th of July or his birthday, the day before, if not sooner.

Ingredients You'll Need:

  • 1 bag cole slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
Mix everything but the coleslaw mix into a dressing.  Add your mix and then place in the fridge for 1-2 hours so it'll be nice and cold when you serve it up!
