Have you made them? Do you have a great recipe for them? This was my first time, and although they were good, I would have liked them to have been drier, less sticky, and more coated. Better luck next time.
They did look lovely though with a salad of fresh greens, goat cheese, and pomegranate seeds for a ladies lunch. Tis the season, and apologies for the blurry picture..
Candied Walnuts, thanks to Bon Apetit
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
large pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups walnut halves
Combine all ingriedients, except for the walnuts. Whisk together constantly and all to boil. Boil for just one minute, then add in the walnuts until they are coated, about 3 minutes. Transfer the nuts to a sheet of foil and separate so they don't stick together. Allow to cool and enjoy!
