Do you do oatmeal in the slow cooker? It's totally a thing and if you don't do it you most definitely need to. We all put a timer on our coffee machines, why not wake up to coffee and breakfast ready at the same time?
This recipe has saved us many a morning and makes a large enough amount that we're found eating it days later. Anderson enjoys at least two helpings and I love that it's got loads of flavor without loads of sugar.
Amen to oatmeal in the slow cooker, amen.

Laura, this looks delish! What could I use if apple butter is no where to be found??
ReplyDeletehmm... apple sauce and maybe don't use as much milk- or you could add in some peanut butter since apple butter is thick?! I don't think you can go wrong as long as there's enough liquid!
ReplyDeleteApple Butter can be found in most grocery stores in the jam/jelly section.
