34. 35. 36. 37. 38.

Why did I think it was a good idea to take weekly pictures?  Probably because people like Annemarie do it, I think I can, but truth is I'm not that committed.  Clearly he isn't laying down on a different blanket each week and truth be told I had to look back to see pictures of him the past several weeks.

While looking back even 4 weeks ago I was thinking about what a different baby he is now.  Mainly the crawling.  Also, the sitting up by himself.  On his 8 month Birthday Anderson decided it was time to sit up on his own. Granted he was asleep when it happened but he quickly figured it out while awake.

Just last week he showed off for Mamma T and decided it was time to crawl.  Now life is very different, the baby proofing has begun, and my eyes are on him nearly all the time.  I'm thankful he'll still sit in the exersaucer at least once a day for about 10 minutes so I can go in the other room real quick, throw laundry in, or get coffee and breakfast.

He's crawling just in time for us to take a cross country flight in the coming weeks.  I'm going to have positive thoughts about it and chose not to worry until we get closer.  After all we're headed to Santa Barbara for a wedding so it'll all be worth it.

Just the past week or so it seems as though Anderson has really caught onto this whole eating thing- today alone packing down some broccoli, cheese, squash, yogurt, blueberries, butternut squash, watermelon, bread, pears, beans, and of course baby puffs.  I love that he's quickly eating whatever we do, or can, so baby food is becoming a thing of the past.  It really wasn't a thing for us anyways as this independent boy likes finger foods much more than being spoon fed.

Although I'm definitely anticipating a season of being increasingly tired, I'm loving the changes ahead.  He's so precious and really likes when we get down at his level, coming over to give me some kisses even today.  Sweet sweet boy.

  1. Hahah. Our "week" fell on a Sunday, which is the only reason why I was able to keep it up! I love these pics for the weeks. Keep up the snapping. The end result will be worth it. Only a few more to go. 52 is right around the corner!! Ahhhh!
