Saturday morning some friends took me to Portage Bay Cafe knowing I would love it. Winner. It's a great story of a restaurant that was started in typical form until the owner realized he had no idea where the food was coming from, etc. It's now all local and 80% organic with a whole wall dedicated to pictures of the farmers who grow the food on your table. Also the mugs you drink out of say, "eat like you give a damn" along with all the staff's t-shirts. Thanks Kendra and Diane!
